Haruomi Hosono - Watering A Flower

Dedicated to a truly mysterious piece of music that resurfaced on the internet in 2017ish - Haruomi Hosono (of YMO etc..) reportedly was commissioned by Japanese retailer MUJI in the 1980s to make a soundtrack for the store which resulted in two pieces of music - "Talking" and "Growth" - released on cassette with an accompanying book of photographs and interviews. Its a very rare release, but after listening to it for years, I finally did a deep dive into the history of it and it goes....deep. There are no decent scans or photos of the release online, so i tracked one down and scanned some of my favorite elements.
